Do you have any intake mods?

I posted in your other thread on this, but check your cold air intake ( if you have one. Mine came loose once in my 01' and the car died until I put it back together.

the M/A is funny like that

Cold air, 70mmtb, upper plentium, stock manifold

Well, there's 3 ideas.

I'd replace one with the stock part and test....then try another stock part.

It shouldn't be that hard to figure out what part is the problem.

If you do a search on any of the larger sites (stangnet, corral, svtperformance, modularfords, etc...) you'll find that a lot of untuned modular cars encounter this issue with intake mods......even a simple K&N can cause this.

I've run into this on each of my cars prior to getting a tune. :bigthumb

You wanna fix it for good? Get a tune.

I had a similar problem with mine, but it turned out to be a bad Tach Adapter for my MSD Ignition.

Then why in the hell were you asking about a dyno and a tune in that other thread?

Who tuned the car? I'd take it to them as it would be a driveability problem in my opinion.

You just need to sell the stang and buy one of these.

Mine actually did that for a long time after it was tuned. I have a CAI on mine and was tuned by MD. I decided to try a few different settings on my sct tuner, raised my idle RPM and made my fuel a little richer and it doesn't stall at all now. Seemed to do it the worst when it was cold and the car was cold, but ever since i changed those settings it's been ok.

i said something about a dyno and tune because i want my car retuned to get the maximum hp out of it. I kinda think that they just said that they tuned it but really didnt

LOL not trying to say anything bad at all, the guys at MD have been freaking amazing and did a very good job, i just could never figure out why my car kept stalling after it was tunned. after some very small tweaks it now seems to be good again, but every thing I ever do to my ride will go to MD because I trust them as the best around here.

Since it only seems to stall on Beechmont, I would advise not driving on Beechmont.

Come on guys - how could you all miss the obvious! Geez.....
