WOW!! That brings back memories... I had an 83 when I was in high school and it was that same color, mine was a hatchback, not a convertable.. Haven't seen that color since.. :D

I had a brown car once too. For some reason it was popular in the late 70s/early 80s.

was it the 3.8 too? yeah i have only ever seen one more brown mustangs in person...this color has a hint of oragane when it is in the sun..looks cool to me..i cant wait to see it after he has the new top put on and has it re cleared...i think it is gonna look pretty cool when he gets it all done..

Mine was a Datsun 210. Alot of memories with that one. I ended up rolling it on a country road. By country road I mean that I was 15 miles off of pavement on one lane gravel. We got the car pulled out and drove it another 5 miles to the trailer we were staying at.

All that car needs is a good top, lowered and some good wheels. Maybe a good wet sanding and buff job and repaint the moldings and it'll look sweet.

that's what he plans to do...already has a new top for it..just waiting for it to warm up more...and he is getting the car wet sanded and re cleared

yep, it was the 3.8... Poor motor, I gave her hell. It did some hellacious burnouts when power braking it.. :D
