I was out at Beechmont Subaru last month, and Moon let me drive the WRX STi. He said folks were dissin' the car (I'm guessing becuase it's not a Mustang). While I completely understand not liking the car becuase it's not a Mustang, the friggin' thing demands much respect and is an all-out blast to drive: It corners like a dream and hits a 100 in no time. When the boost kicks in, you can't wipe the smile off your face. Great car...Thanks for letting me drive it Mootang!! :cool1:

They are definately a blast to drive! I had the opportunity to take a few laps with one a couple of years ago at Gingerman Raceway (road course) it is absolutely undescribable how well mannered and neutral this car is in cornering and how much fun it is to do a 4-wheel slide through the corners and power your way right out. The brakes are nothing to badmouth either.

If Scott ever has to give one away, I would be more than glad to take it off of his hands.

I wouldn't have minded having one for a DD either, but I couldn't justify the $30K+ for that or an Evo and settle for the SRT4.

Sti's are one of the only "other" car i like....never drove one but have rode in one...they are pretty quick...

Never had a chance to drive an Sti, but about 3 years ago one of my friends bought an EVO 8 and didn't really know how to drive a stick all that well. After some encouragement we went out on 275 with me driving and after 20 minutes he was white faced and almost ripped the door handles off. That little booger would leave the line too, 4k dump clutch mash throttle scare the hell out of Don. LOL LOL
