if im in the wrong forum someone please put me in the right place.
are the seat tracks different in certain mustangs? as in some being longer then others. i used to have a 87 gt and i had leg room in it and just recently bought a 93 4cyl coupe and i have NO leg room in it. years ago before i got the 87 i was gonna test drive another 93 gt and had no leg room in it. drove a 89 coupe that used to be 4cyl and had leg room in it...can someone please help cause i need to get the right seat track or do whatever i need to do. thanks in advance

Yet another reason why I love being short. Seriously did the 87 have power seats? Never had a gt. Just wandering. My 87 T bird has 88 stang seats with power tracks from the bird.. If I put the seat all the way back I can't reach the pedals. No problem in my 89 Lx though.

I think you can move the seat back a little on the track to gain a bit of legroom. Something else that might be part of it, theres a big padded knee cushion or something on later fox cars. it looks like it takes about 3 inches of legroom out.
