Ok so some low rent Mexican hit my cousins car and ran the other day while we were eating with our family celebrating his grandparents 50 year anniversary. On cousin was outside and saw it and got the license number. Cops said not sure if they will be able to do anything about it. Not sure if someone knows how to get information based on someones license plate number? Let me know because if the cops don't handle this we are going to have to....

See if the restaurant had video of the parking lot. That will be proof right there. Then take that to the cops with the tag.

The restaurant doesn't have cameras and you're probably right... I just need to know how to get their information based on license plate number....

Most insurance companies will handle it if you can give them the license plate number - you did file a police report, right?

Yes he filed a police report.... but the cop said the guy doesn't "recall being in an accident that day".

type the licence plate bumber into google....sometime it will pull information with what car that plate is registered with...
