I am in the process of installing a rebuilt 5.0L, I want to leave all of the emissions off of it... My questions are:

What is all involved in deleting the air managament system from @ 5.0L, other than not putting everything back on??

I know you need a smog pump delete for the belt, but do you cap the hole in the rear of each cylinder head,

What do you need to do w/ the air pipe to convertor??

Do I need to change my h-pipe??

If I put an off-road h-pipe on it, what do you do w/ the o2's??

Any feedback is greatly appreciated!!

You don't actually need the delete pulley, just run a shorter belt. I would go ahead and get an o/r pipe for it, the performance gains are worth it. O/r pipes will have the bungs required to put the O2 sensors back in.

What he said plus this. You can either plug the thermacter holes in the head with the correct inserts from Ford (under10 bucks) or just cut the ends off the tube and flip them around so they block the holes. You dont NEED to change your h pipe, but its worth the sound and power. IMO.
