Stangbangerz came to life on March 14, 2002. That is his mother's birthday and that is the day it all began.

Would anybody like to go to Hooters in Eastgate (on Beechmont) around 7pm that evening (Wednesday, March 14, 2007)? I thought it would be a good day to honor the 5 year anniversary of SBZ and Vinny making this site possible. The first SBZ cruise-in was held at the Hooters in Springdale. It was always one of Vinny's favorite places to meet!

ps All you can eat wings on Wednesday night too. ;)

The first Hooters meet was the day after I brought my Trans Am home from Illinois.

I'd love to meet, but I work from 6-9, maybe if I can get a early start I can stop in to say "Hi!" and jump back on the highway.

We will do our best to be there. The only thing hanging is an out of town job I have early that week. If I can get it finnished early, we'll be there.

I will need a head count on Tuesday. I just called them and asked if we could have a section to ourselves, so we can all sit together. She said sure, just let her know the day before and she'll hold some tables for us.

Post up if you plan on coming (by next Tuesday). I told her 30 people for now.

Thanks to everybody that came out - it was good to see you all. Kevin made a nice toast to SBZ and Vinny.

I know, I put up a pretty good front - but damn, that was hard tonight. Driving up there in the coupe by myself, sitting there without him harrassing all the waitresses, telling his stories, then when the waitresses sang their version of Happy Birthday, it felt like somebody punched me in the stomach.

We just wanted to stop by and show some support! Vinny started a second family for all of us and without him, we would've never met a lot of you! There are a ton of great people and that has shown through in these devestating times.

Holly, you are a remarkable woman! You have stayed strong through this past month. You have to hit rock bottom before you can start to climb your way back to the top. I know that probably doesn't mean much, being that I don't really know you all that well. If there is anything I can do, just let me know!
