If you've ever picked up an Olfa knife and tried to do your own tint then maybe you can appreciate this, all of them are hand cut which for me is pretty amazing since I can barely draw a flame with a pencil. It may not be your cup of tea or whatever, I know I would never put these on my car but some people want them on every car they buy, enjoy.

You could do it for sure. Only thing is with lettering you would probably want that to be cut with a plotter, which is probably my next big investment.

We do custom tinting at my shop, but our tinter generally will NOT hand cut anything. (he's a cranky s.o.b.!)

Looks great Dave. Ive never gotten into doing that kind of work on cars, but I do alot of custom work on flatglass. we used to hand cut it by progecting the pattern from the back side. The hours that went into it wasnt worth it when we could have a local vinyl shop cut it out on their ploter. We are currently looking into buying a used one. Once I get good with designing, Im going to do some custom stuff on car windows myself.

There really is alot of time involved in doing it by hand, I don't do it very often and don't charge nearly enough for the ones I do. Machine cut is the way to go though if you plan on doing any.

I work for a shop in Dayton that starts with Z ;) , we don't usually do any custom stuff at work but I do get a request for it here and there at home.
