yes if you notch your pistons about 3 feet ..........:lol: :lol: :lol:
you would need new hardware for those heads ..........if it has stock hardware ........ having gt40 heads, you better look into a lower lift cam - something more mild ......... something in the E cam range .......

its all you need for those heads ...... lift doesn't equal horsepower ... look more into your duration ... maybe have it degreed by a professional ... people over look cams and they can kick you dead square in the balls ....... they can make you an extra 10-15 hp or lose 10-15 hp - thats a 20-30 hp swing .......
how about a trick flow stage 1 cam? ... i had good luck with it .... pretty close to your E, but the stage 1 cam has a split lift and duration ... im a big fan of solid rollers or if you go hydraulic i like a custom cam ...
