what speedometer gear???

Ok i am lookin thru my 50resto book and i cant find the correct speedometer cable gear for my '94 GT 5 speed to correct the speed when changing over to a 3.73.... any suggestion??? thanks!

The highest correction gear i can find goes up to 3.55

I think it's a 21 tooth gear you'll need...

Another site a friend of mine sent me, my car has an 8 tooth speedometer in the tranny and they dont make a gear for my gear change :mad:

i am wondering if it would be worth the trouble of changing out the internal shaft gear in the tranny to a 6 or a 7 tooth so i can run the 21 tooth gear???????

my shit is always off, even when i get the "right one" ..... right now when im going 117 through the traps, it shows about 130 ... i have 23k on my car, i think i really have about 18k ... its been off for 14 years .........

Problem solved, the NEW latemodel book has a retro-fit kit! i just have to pull the trans, which is a good thing, cuz i forgot that i had the adjustable clutch stuff to go in it!!!
