What timing should I use for a 650 Holly carburetor and a Edelbrock RPM intake setup. I will be driving the car mostly on weekends on the street and occasionally at the track.
Also what spark plug gap is good.

what kind of dist do you have. i would say start with 8 and not go over 12

Usually a good place to start is about 32 degrees of total timing!!

The distributor is a stock magnetic pick up. Its wired up to a Pro-comp 6AL.
