:evilflip: let the turbo fabbing begin.for those that don't know my girl has been in the mustang thang with me for the past 12 yrs,i've built her a gt and a coupe over the years, she would go to the track with me all the time and drive the cars on slicks just like i tought her.revit at 5,000 drop the clutch and never let off the gas when you shift, and let me tell ya she has ran as close as a tenth from me,but over the years trying to keep to stangs on the road got to be to much as daily drivers.so i put her in a civic for reliabilty and she hates it but don't complaine.so i thought i'd put this gt together for her to have something to beat the shit out of.so she said slap a turbo on the bitch:bigthumb will do babe, parts are here, starting on it tommorow and should be boosten by sunday:) i'll have less than $400 in this kit on a but stock motor.i'll get a camera out tonight and keep a follow up pics and vids.........

damn taking care of your little girl, thats killer :bigthumb i did the same thing about 3 years back ... i didnt go as far as you and i chose silver ... it still was a fun little car ... this is the one i just sold to the "neighbor" ...

this was robbies old car "yougotjunk" ... some of the middle town guys might remember it, when it was a faded black car with a wrecked fender (and the infamous bird catcher *scoop*) ... wow this was a project ... like i posted in a thread one time, i dont care if i ever paint a car again ...

it will be out again this summer with a 331 stroker ... which is in another post, lol ... good luck chris, im sure yours will look great ...

it's an whc-1/hx35. i will have less than $400 in the whole turbo kit:) my plan was to keep this project cheap as possible.i thought about a cheap ebay turbo but i hear they don't hold up long.and i've ran the hx35 before and love how it spools on the street wich is right now and runs out of steam around 5,000rpm right about where i'll be shifting.and should make 400ftlbs easily.of course it will rain for 3days now after it's running as usuall:HYF:

good deal bro. I thought it looked like a 35. Im wanting to use the 35 off my cummins on the stang once I upgrade to a bigger charger for the diesel.

I was wondering how they performed on a 5.0 style motor, now I know. ;)

Yeah you should always take care of your women. This is my wifes car 1993 GT.This is a fun car runs like 13.60's and is reliable. She loves it.Kepps her interested in the hobby. We have been married almost 17 years now and have had way to many of these cars to keep track of.The last one that was hers she gave to me to put a 393 in and we never did.We still have it its a 1982 GT we have owned it for 13 years but are now thinking of selling.

who would have ever thought a stock motor would run this good:cool1: i am impressed needless to say on 7lbs it shocks the tires in 3rd,the butt dyno says 350hp/400ftlbs i'll have to go make a boost controler right quick and see how she feels on 10lbs. IT'S ALIVE!!!

first off you guy's gotta take those shorty headers and put them on backwards:lol: when ever you all are ready just holler,i put an intank 255 fuel pump in this morning bumped the fuel pressure up, timing down, boost up to 15lbs you would have to ride in this car to believe me on how good it runs for a stone stock motor i am very impressed, and not broke:D it should go mid 11's easily. and daily driven 22 miles to the gallon. and it hiss's like a pissed off cat
