Another "Career" related thread!

I am in the search for a new job. I'm tired of driving over an hour each way to work every day and I'm ready for some change. I have signed up on Careerbuilder.com and was just wandering if anybody has ever had any luck with it? I have had a few replied e-mails about companies interested in me, but not exactly what I'm looking for yet. I work in a specific field I would like to stay close to, but has anybody else had luck with other ways of finding jobs in a specialized field?

I found 2 jobs on careerbuilder and applied for both. I could of had the one job but it was 1/2 of what I make now but a hell of a lot closer.

What exactly do you do?

I never had any luck on Careerbuilder. There are way to many people on there and half the jobs on there are "scams".

I'm on careerbuilder and yet to really have any luck with it.

I've applied to a few, but mostly they all seem to be deadends.

If you are talking about the insurance/money conversion scams... Instant trashcan items.

yeah there is quite a bit of junk on there. just have to be patient. it took about a month or so before I even got an interview with anybody.
