I have some Mosers that go in the 9" for my car. I need to get the wheel studs upgraded to a bigger size (1/2"). Does anyone locally do this?

Thanks

Any machine shop that can drill hardend steel should be able to do it for you. They should also be able to press in the new studs for you. Call some local machine shops.

I live too far from you but I do it for people all the time for free. I bought the correct size drill bit and then press them in after I drill them.

When you say machine shop, are you talking about engine machine shops such as BES?

Thanks for the offer, too bad you don't live closer:(

What part of town are you in? Some of the local/neighborhood machine shops can get you taken care of.

I am on the westside, but drive all over the tristate for work.

There are quite a few mom and pop type machine shops on your side of town!

You need a carbide bit to do it. If you buy the bit I'll do it for you for the bit. If you want to do it yourself it isn't that complicated get a slow speed drill ( I have an air one) and keep plenty of oil on it. ATF works well as a cutting fluid/coolant.
